Rochester, NY — If you’ve recently purchased a Good & Gather Southwest-Style Burrito Bowl Blend from Target, it’s important to check your freezer. One Frozen, LLC, located in Rochester, has issued a voluntary recall of over 57,000 units of this frozen burrito bowl product after it was found that some batches might contain undeclared shrimp—a significant allergen for many people.
The ingredient label did not mention the presence of shrimp (crustacean shellfish). For those with shellfish allergies, eating this product could lead to a severe or potentially life-threatening allergic reaction. As of now, three consumer complaints have been reported concerning shrimp in the product. Thankfully, no illnesses or injuries have been documented as of September 10.
