Mango Recall: 302 Boxes Sold at Select Walmart Stores in Four States Pulled Over Salmonella Risk

MAMARONECK, N.Y. — Panorama Produce is recalling 302 boxes of size 9 mangoes because they may be contaminated with Salmonella, the company announced Aug. 28, 2026. The FDA published the recall notice Aug. 29, 2026.

Salmonella can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems, according to the company. Healthy people infected with Salmonella often experience fever, diarrhea — which may be bloody — nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain. In rare circumstances, infection can result in the organism entering the bloodstream and producing more severe illnesses such as arterial infections, including infected aneurysms, endocarditis and arthritis.

The recalled product was distributed in Connecticut, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania beginning Aug. 10 through Aug. 21, 2026, and was sold in select Walmart stores.

The mangoes are packaged in a Martina-branded case. Individual mangoes can be identified by a light blue sticker with the label Agrofepac, Produce of Mexico, and a PLU number of 4584 and UPC 07503061948050.

The recall was initiated after FDA sampling found Salmonella in mangoes grown on the same farm but not distributed into U.S. commerce. The recalled mangoes and the sampled mangoes share the same source, prompting Panorama Produce to initiate the recall. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with the recalled product. Consumers should use the product identifiers above to determine whether product is included in the recall.

Consumers who have the recalled mangoes should dispose of them or return them to the place of purchase. Anyone who believes they may have become ill should contact a health care provider.

Panorama Produce said it is an experienced produce importer committed to a strong focus on food safety. The recall is being conducted voluntarily and in coordination with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Halloween Candy Recall: Chocolatey Eyeballs Sold at TJ Maxx, Marshalls and HomeGoods Contain Undeclared Milk

NORTH ARLINGTON, N.J. — Crystal Temptations is recalling Halloween Chocolatey Eyeballs because they contain undeclared milk allergens, the company announced Aug. 31, 2026. The FDA published the recall notice the same day.
People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume the product, according to the company.

The recalled product, sold under the Crystal Temptations brand, was distributed in Arizona, Texas, Virginia, Georgia, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Indiana, Nevada, California, New Jersey, Connecticut, Ohio and Wyoming through the retail stores Marshalls, TJ Maxx, HomeGoods and Sierra Trading Post.

The affected product comes in 7 oz., 10 oz., 10.5 oz., 11 oz. and 16 oz. packages.

No illnesses have been reported to date.

The recall was initiated after a TJX analyst discovered that the Chocolatey Eyeballs containing whey, a milk-derived ingredient, were distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of milk. A subsequent investigation indicated the problem was caused by a temporary breakdown in the company’s production and packaging processes, according to the announcement.

Consumers who have purchased Crystal Temptations Chocolatey Eyeballs are urged to destroy the product. Refunds are not available at the point of sale; consumers must contact Crystal Temptations with proof of purchase for a refund.

Cincinnati Olive Oil Company Recalls Garlic Mediterranean Infused Extra Virgin Olive Oil Over Unapproved Essential Oil

CINCINNATI — LMSI LLC/Kofinas Olive Oil is voluntarily recalling its Garlic Mediterranean Infused Extra Virgin Olive Oil because the product was made using a garlic essential oil that is not approved for culinary use, the company announced Sept. 2, 2026. The FDA published the recall notice on Sept. 3, 2026. The flavored oil was bottled in glass bottles in 500 ml, 250 ml and 100 ml sizes.

The recalled products were available for sale from Aug. 31, 2025, to Aug. 27, 2026, at the following locations:

Walmart Frozen Organic Triple Berry Blend Recalled in 27 States Over E. Coli O145 Risk

SAN CARLOS, Chile — Frutas y Hortalizas del Sur S.A. has expanded its July 3, 2026, recall of frozen organic IQF blueberries to include one lot of Great Value frozen Organic Triple Berry Blend 10 oz because of potential contamination with Escherichia coli O145, the company announced Sept. 2, 2026. The FDA published the recall notice Sept. 3, 2026.

E. coli O145 is a Shiga toxin-producing E. coli that can cause illness characterized by severe stomach cramps, diarrhea — which may be bloody — and vomiting. While most healthy individuals recover within a week, some infections may result in a serious complication known as hemolytic uremic syndrome, particularly in young children, older adults and individuals with weakened immune systems.

The recalled product was shipped to select Walmart stores in 27 states including Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia and Wisconsin. Consumers should check their freezers for the affected product.

The affected product is Great Value Organic Triple Berry Blend 10 OZ, including strawberries, blackberries and blueberries, with UPC 7874211226, package size 10 oz, lot code 6040 01-6 printed in front of the package, and a Best If Used By date of Feb. 9, 2028.

Consumers who have the product with lot code 6040 01-6 should not consume it. It should be discarded or returned to Walmart for a full refund.

There are no illnesses associated with this specific product to date, and the market action is being taken as a precautionary measure following traceback information from the previous recall, according to the company. Frutas y Hortalizas del Sur S.A. said it is working closely with the appropriate regulatory authorities and its customers regarding the recall.

Foods Alive Organic Moringa Leaf Powder Pulled Over Salmonella Risk

ANGOLA, Ind. — Foods Alive Inc. is recalling its 8-ounce packages of organic moringa leaf powder because the product has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella, the company announced Sept. 4, 2026. The FDA published the recall notice the same day.

The recalled organic moringa leaf powder was distributed nationwide in retail stores and through online sellers including but not limited to www.foodsalive.com.

The product comes in an 8-ounce stand-up pouch with a freshest by date of 110127 and the number 02726 below the date. The affected product was shipped between Jan. 27 and Aug. 7, 2026.

No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with the problem.

The potential for contamination was found after the company’s supplier notified it that a sample of their super green powder mix, collected at retail, tested positive for Salmonella. The source of the problem has not been determined.

The company said it has suspended production and distribution of these products while the FDA and the company continue their investigation.
