Santa Cruz, CA — Gooder Foods, Inc. has announced a voluntary recall of two well-known pasta products from its Goodles brand after identifying undeclared allergens in specific lots. The recall impacts certain packages of Vegan Is Believin’ – Plant Based White Cheddar with Spirals and Here Comes Truffle – Creamy Truffle Flavored Cheddar and Shells due to the presence of milk and cashews, respectively, which are not mentioned on the ingredient labels.
As stated by the company, five lots of Vegan Is Believin’ might contain milk, while three lots of Here Comes Truffle could have cashews. Both allergens present a significant health risk for those with allergies or sensitivities.
