BILOXI, Miss. — As summer transitions into fall, Coastal Mississippi beckons travelers to explore its picturesque 62-mile coastline, featuring a vibrant lineup of festivals and events throughout Hancock, Harrison, and Jackson counties. With a diverse array of offerings ranging from art and music to nature and vintage cars, the Gulf Coast promises to have something for everyone this autumn.
Among the season’s highlights:
- Mississippi Songwriters Festival in Ocean Springs (Sept. 18–21) brings top regional talent and a Hall of Fame ceremony.
- Inaugural Gulfport Arts Festival (Sept. 20) debuts with live music, art displays, and community fun.
- Hummingbird Festival at Pascagoula River Audubon Center (Sept. 26–27) celebrates the fall migration with crafts, storytelling, and bird banding.
- Paddle Paradise (Sept. 27) offers a free, family-friendly paddle event in Diamondhead.
- Butterflies in the Pass (Oct. 4) returns to Pass Christian with live music and butterfly education.
- Cruisin’ the Coast (Oct. 5–12), one of the region’s biggest events, showcases thousands of classic cars along Highway 90.
- Fallen Oak Collegiate Invitational (Oct. 17–20) hosts top NCAA golf teams at the premier Fallen Oak Golf Club.
- Llamapalooza 2025 (Oct. 18) in Biloxi features beer, live music, and quirky fun from Fly Llama Brewing.
- Boo in the Bay Parade (Oct. 18) brings Halloween flair to Bay St. Louis with decorated carts and candy.
- Peter Anderson Arts & Crafts Festival (Nov. 8–9), Mississippi’s largest fine arts event, draws over 400 vendors to Ocean Springs.
- Bud & Burgers in the Bay (Nov. 9) features a burger cook-off, live music, beer garden, and college football in Bay St. Louis.
