Individuals with a wheat allergy or significant sensitivity could experience severe or potentially fatal allergic reactions if they ingest the incorrectly labeled product. Up to this point, there have been no reports of illnesses or injuries.
“We are recalling this product because it may contain ingredients that include wheat, which is not declared on the label,” the company said in a statement. “The safety, quality, and integrity of our products remain our number one priority, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience to our consumers and retail partners.”
