The recalled product, packaged in 18.5oz plastic tubs and labeled as Wegmans Semi-Sweet Chocolate Nonpareils, was distributed across Wegmans retail locations in various states, including Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Washington D.C. The product’s UPC is 0 77890 49787 6, and the lot codes of concern are:

The recall was initiated following an investigation that uncovered the absence of the milk allergen on the packaging, which was due to a temporary problem in the supplier’s manufacturing process.
