Coming to Theaters January 17, 2025
Blumhouse Productions and visionary director Leigh Whannell, known for The Invisible Man, are unleashing a terrifying new horror story with Wolf Man, a modern lupine nightmare set to hit theaters in January 2025.
Starring Golden Globe nominee Christopher Abbott (Poor Things, It Comes at Night) as Blake, a San Francisco husband and father, the film follows a family’s chilling encounter with a mysterious creature. After inheriting his late father’s secluded childhood home in rural Oregon, Blake, with his wife Charlotte (Emmy winner Julia Garner; Ozark, Inventing Anna) and their young daughter Ginger (Matilda Firth), heads to the remote farmhouse for a much-needed break from city life. But their peaceful getaway takes a terrifying turn when they are attacked by an unseen animal during their journey.
Trapped inside the farmhouse as the creature stalks them from outside, Blake begins to undergo a strange and violent transformation, leaving Charlotte to grapple with an agonizing decision: Is the threat inside their home more deadly than the monster lurking outside?
Wolf Man also features a talented supporting cast, including Sam Jaeger (The Handmaid’s Tale), Ben Prendergast (The Sojourn Audio Drama), and Benedict Hardie (The Invisible Man), along with newcomers Zac Chandler, Beatriz Romilly (Shortland Street), and Milo Cawthorne.
Written and directed by Whannell, who previously collaborated with Blumhouse on Upgrade and Insidious: Chapter 3, Wolf Man is produced by Blumhouse CEO Jason Blum and Ryan Gosling. The film is set for release by Universal Pictures and Blumhouse, in association with Cloak & Co.
Prepare for a fresh take on the werewolf legend, where terror lurks both inside and outside the house. Wolf Man arrives in theaters on January 17, 2025.
