Mike Jeffries, the former CEO of Abercrombie & Fitch, has been arrested in connection with a federal investigation into sex trafficking and interstate prostitution. His arrest follows allegations made by eight men, who accused Jeffries and his associates of sexual exploitation during extravagant parties around the globe.
Alongside Jeffries, his partner Matthew Smith and alleged recruiter James Jacobson were also taken into custody. A grand jury in New York indicted the trio on one count of sex trafficking and 15 counts of interstate prostitution, accusing them of spending millions to orchestrate a network of “sex events.”
