Gerber Products Company has announced the recall and discontinuation of all batches of GERBER Soothe N Chew Teething Sticks due to a potential choking hazard for babies and young children. The recall was initiated after the company received consumer complaints about choking incidents, with one emergency room visit reported.

These products were distributed nationwide, including in retail stores and online, and in the states of Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, Illinois, New York, Texas, and Puerto Rico.
Gerber advises that consumers who have purchased the affected teething sticks should immediately stop using the product and return it to the retailer for a full refund. The company has set up a customer service line at 1-800-4-GERBER (1-800-443-7237) for further assistance. Parents or caregivers who have concerns about their child’s health should consult a healthcare provider.
The company is working closely with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to resolve the issue and ensure the safety of consumers. Gerber has apologized for any inconvenience and concern caused by this recall.
