
Kohler is releasing their latest collaboration with Laura Kim, Co-Creative Director of Monse and Oscar de la Renta, for the brand’s “Design Changes Everything” campaign. The campaign, launched on February 10, highlights the metamorphic influence of design to elevate the everyday look into the unique.

This campaign showcases Kim’s bespoke dress, which draws direct inspiration from Kohler’s Veil Smart Toilet—a gem of design in its own right. Featuring a sleek, minimalist silhouette and Kohler’s signature Honed Black finish, the Veil Smart Toilet symbolizes the blend of elegance, modernity, and functional innovation, themes that Kim translated beautifully into her fashion design.

Kim’s original dress made its debut during Monse’s Fall/Winter 2025 runway show at New York Fashion Week on February 9, stunning the audience with its combination of simplicity, contrasts, and modern sophistication. The dress—just like the Veil Smart Toilet—was layered in materiality and textural depth, evoking a sense of balance between softness and structure. Black chiffon created graceful movement, embodying femininity, while leather straps and a buckle detail added masculine touches, perfectly mirroring the duality Kim believes is essential in great design. The dress speaks to her philosophy that design must embrace contrasts without losing sight of practicality.
