E Bakery 2019 LLC, operating as Broadway Bakery, has issued a voluntary recall for its Raisin Bran Muffin 6 Count packages due to a mislabeling error that resulted in undeclared walnuts in the product. The recall, announced on February 13, 2025, and published by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration on February 14, 2025, affects muffins sold under the Cub Foods, Jerrys Foods, and Country Market brands in the Twin Cities, Minnesota area.
The affected product, labeled as Raisin Bran Muffin 6 Count, was mistakenly packaged with Glorious Morning Muffins, which contain walnuts—a known allergen not listed on the label. The mislabeling poses a serious risk to individuals with walnut allergies, who may experience severe or life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume the product.
The recalled muffins are packaged in clear 6-count containers with a net weight of 12 ounces and a sell-by date of February 18, 2025. The product carries the UPC code 0 29341-00233. The issue was discovered after a retail location reported the labeling error. All impacted stores have been notified and have removed the mislabeled product from their shelves.
To date, no illnesses have been reported in connection with the mislabeled muffins. However, Broadway Bakery is urging customers who purchased the affected product to not consume it and to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
