April 16, 2025 — Supplement Manufacturing Partners, Inc. has issued a voluntary recall of its Dorado Nutrition brand Spermidine Maximum Strength 10mg vegetable capsules due to the presence of an undeclared wheat allergen, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced today.
The affected product, labeled as “Spermidine Maximum Strength 10 MG per serving,” was sold online via Amazon between May 22, 2024, and April 4, 2025, and is also distributed in Germany under the name “Spermidin 60 Kapseln 38g” by Deep Green GmbH, also known as Space Garden.
The supplement is packaged in white bottles containing 120 capsules, with blue-outlined labels. Recalled units bear the best-by date of 04/2026 and Lot Numbers 12792402-44 and 12792402-44J, printed on the bottom of the bottle.
Health Risks for Those with Wheat Allergies
This recall is especially important for individuals with a wheat allergy or sensitivity, who risk experiencing serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume the mislabeled product. As of now, no allergic reactions or adverse health events have been reported in connection with the supplement.
The issue was discovered during a routine test, which revealed that wheat-containing capsules had been distributed in packaging that failed to declare the allergen. The product has since been removed from sale, according to the company.
What to Do If You Purchased the Product
Consumers who have purchased the recalled supplement are urged to stop using it immediately and return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
